We are very excited to introduce you to the Center for Equal Health. This center is a partnership between the University of South Florida, the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, and our community. The center has been established with generous funding from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.
In the next 5 years, the Center will embark on an ambitious journey to address cancer health disparities. Although eliminating disparities requires much work, we are confident in the talented individuals that have come together to address this problem, and we are greatly appreciative of the support of our institutions and our community. TOGETHER we can do much to eliminate health disparities. We hope that you will join us in this effort. We invite you to explore our website and get involved in the work of the Center.

The Center for Equal Health was created with the understanding that partnership with the community is essential to addressing health disparities, not only in the Tampa Bay community, but in Florida and beyond. The Center welcomes the community’s voice and experiences to inform and guide its work and research, and in turn, the community looks forward to being an active partner with USF and Moffitt. We know and believe that many of the solutions to challenges in the community come from the community itself. That is why it is critically important that the community remains actively involved in the Center and that the community needs are always considered. Please partner with us in this effort!
